Michael Malikowski hired as Regional Manager Southeast Operations
C&K Trucking, LLC is pleased to announce the hiring of Michael Malikowski as Regional Manager - Southeast Operations. Michael will support our offices/terminals in Atlanta, Savannah, Charleston, and Jacksonville, with his primary goal to further develop our backhaul programs and reduce empty miles. David Hensal, Vice President of Operations at C&K stated: "Michael has over 20 years in the intermodal industry with 18 of those years working for Transus Intermodal and then Roadlink after Roadlink acquired Transus Intermodal. Michael was instrumental in the growth of Transus Intermodal and the development of their backhaul programs. Michael had previously worked with several of our employees and was highly regarded."

Mike Burton, President of C&K stated, "Michael's past history, skills, and knowledge will accelerate our stated strategy of reducing empty miles. By reducing empty miles, we can offer more competitive pricing to our customers, keep our drivers more productive, and at the same time improve the Environment by reducing Emissions." "C&K has been a leader in the EPA Smartway program receiving its highest rating and as the Smartway program seeks constant improvement, we have a 2010 objective to reduce our empty miles by an additional 10%. Michael will help us exceed our goal."
